About the Company

The number of standardized tests taken in the world increases every year – college admissions exams, undergraduate and graduate level exams, professional improvement and government mandated exams. Test taking is simply a part of life. While the test prep industry has devoted a lot of attention to the well-known standardized tests such as the SAT, GRE, GMAT, and LSAT, there are numerous high-value but niche tests that go unserved. Enter TestSoup.

TestSoup was created to reinforce the fundamentals that are needed to be successful with any standardized test. By delivering expert educational resources in the form of mobile and web-based test prep materials, we're helping thousands of students around the world become more successful.

Things we believe

Focus on the user and everything else will follow.

Since the beginning, we’ve focused on providing the best user experience possible. Whether we’re creating new content for the mobile apps or a new tweak to the look of the homepage, we take great care to ensure that all changes will ultimately serve you rather than our own internal goals or bottom line. Our homepage interface is clear and simple and pages load instantly. When we build new tools and applications, we believe they should work so well you don‘t have to consider how they might have been designed differently.

It’s best to do one thing really, really well.

We do test prep. Our goal is to bring innovative online and mobile test prep solutions to the world.

Fast is better than slow and affordable is better than expensive.

We know your time is valuable, so when you’re studying for your test you want to study in an instant – and we are here to please. We also know that test prep can be expensive, so we keep it affordable without sacrificing the quality of our content. We keep speed in mind with each new product we release, whether it’s an online or mobile application, however, we will never sacrifice quality for speed.

The world is mobile and so are we.

The world is increasingly mobile; people want ready-access to test prep solutions wherever they are, whenever they need it. We’re pioneering new technologies that help people all over the globe study for their next big test.

You can make money and still have integrity.

TestSoup is a business. The revenue we generate is derived from our users and our sponsors. Our sponsors receive advertising displayed throughout our site and on our partners’ sites. To ensure that we’re ultimately serving all our users (whether they are sponsors or not), we have a set of guiding principles for our advertising programs and practices:

  • We believe that advertising can be effective without being flashy. We don‘t accept pop-up advertising, which interferes with your ability to study for your big test.
  • Our sponsors are the only ones who can advertise on TestSoup. Our sponsors help keep some of our study systems free for our customers. Our users trust our objectivity and no short-term gain could ever justify breaching that trust.

Great isn’t good enough – so aim higher and push the envelope.

We see being great at something as a starting point, not an endpoint. We set ourselves goals we know we can’t reach yet, because we know that by stretching to meet them we can get further than we expected. Through innovation and iteration, we aim to take things that work well and improve upon them in unexpected ways. If at any time, we haven’t exceeded your expectations, we want to know about it.

Why should I study with the TestSoup flashcards and eBooks, especially when there are hundreds of other resources on the market?

Studies show that simulating the experience of test taking with flashcards is one of the best ways to really internalize information. Our flashcard system is a compilation of some of the best resources available. Our team has spent years going through various study materials, interviewing test takers, and developing test strategies to bring you the best of the best. Our focus is to ensure you get the most critical core concepts, test strategies, and test hacks mastered so you are fully prepared on test day.

Our flashcards system is designed to help you learn. You don’t get harder questions until you have answered the easier ones correctly. We also help you practice like you play. Most standardized tests are computer based. Our flashcard system simulates this experience, forcing you to get used to seeing and studying various concepts on a computer or even a mobile device.

You’re busy and studying takes time. We get it. But you may have 15 minutes or a half hour before a meeting or practice. That’s when TestSoup comes in handy. Study on the go and on your terms.

In reference to our eBook study guides, we spend a lot of time performing research and hiring experts to build the best content available. If you purchase on of our study guides, you should feel very confident that you are getting the best content available – and almost always for the best price.

How much do your flashcards and eBooks cost?

Our flashcards and eBooks very rarely cost more than $9.99. Our goal is to get you the best content and the best user experience for the best price. Our thought is this – if we are the best in all of those categories, then we become the leader in providing test prep solutions. That is our goal.

Is TestSoup the only resource I need to ensure a high score on test day?

Is TestSoup the only resource I need to ensure a high score on test day?

Absolutely not! Practice makes perfect. We recommend you review other study materials and various practice problems prior to test day. Our system was created because most people need a solid refresher course that covers fundamental concepts. However, there are numerous other resources we recommend. Visit our blog for additional resources.
